This is such a wonderful event each year--it's great to see the college community turn out it good numbers to attend talks and view panels about a difficult subject. Thanks for covering this year's speaker, Tailyr.

Forgive me if I am wrong on this, but aren't stands "packed" with students who belong to other teams who either come out in support voluntarily OR are essentially told to do so? I often suspect that attendance at a # of athletic events is inflated by coaches and captains who either openly or through implicit coment, push or require their team to attend. So it becomes a circular sort of justification--see how many are here! See how many will come out to another team's match? Yet in end, tends to all be fellow athletes.

Kind of like the unofficial practices by which teams often dominate in Bubble, even though original purpose of Bubble was solely for intramurals, general student use, and the broader community. That's changed, but again, circumvent by having "unofficial" practices, but attendance/absence is duly noted.

Just some thoughts.
