Graduation Proposal Rejected

The University rejected a proposal to have “Granite State of Mind” creator and viral youtube sensation Christian Wisecarver perform and speak at this years 2010 graduation ceremony in May. School officials said he would not be “appropriate” for the ceremony.

Wisecarver has gained national attention after making “Grantite State of Mind,” a spoof of the popular Jay-Z song, “Empire State of Mind.” Over a million people watched his video on youtube, he was featured on The Today Show, WMUR did a piece on him and he even got a personal phone call from N.H. native Adam Sandler.
