Campus-Wide Raven Egg Hunt Underway Today Until 2:30pm

by Adam Stahl

It is a calm and quiet morning on the campus of Franklin Pierce. Some students are in their 8:00 a.m. classes yet others can be seen wandering about the benches in front of Peterson Hall or searching the bushes next to the library.

The campus-wide Raven Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Classes of 2010 and 2012, open to all students, is in full-swing Thursday, April 29 until 2:30 p.m.

Students were searching not only on their own but also in small groups trying to find these arguably well-hidden treasures.

Student Finds Egg

Junior Megan Landry Found an Egg This Morning

One hundred and twenty eggs with camouflaged patterns on them, containing raffle tickets, have been hidden throughout the main campus. Students who find eggs need to bring both their egg and ticket to the Information Desk in the Glass Foyer along with a valid FPU student I.D. up until 2:30 p.m. today. The tickets and eggs can be redeemed for prizes ranging from chocolate and lollipops to iPods and flat-screen televisions. Only two eggs can be redeemed per student regardless of how many eggs a student finds.

The egg hunt had a budget of $2,000 that was approved by the Student Government Association on Wednesday, April 7.
