This March, a new television show created by junior Matt Jones called “Co-Ed’s” will air on FPTV.

While shows like Ground Pound, The Boot, and In the Clinch cover sports and entertainment, there has yet to be a show about college life; until now. Jones’ show, which will debut in March, deals with issues that college students face and takes a closer look at campus life.

“It’s a comedy about two guys and two girls living in a co-ed dorm,” said Jones.

Although the show is a comedy, there will be a bit of drama added in as well.

“It’s a comedy with a small amount of drama included, but for the most part it is meant to be a sitcom,” said Jones. “The main characters are myself, Allie Demsey, Grace Simoneau, and Tyler Lussier.”

Jones is looking for other actors to appear in the show as well.

“I’m looking for anyone interested in one time parts. A tough part about shooting this show is getting people to get together to shoot,” Jones added.

Many of the other shows have different types of viewers, such as sports fans, comedy fans, and entertainment fans. But Jones does not have a specific audience in mind.

“The show takes place here at college, so I hope that people can relate to what the characters are dealing with,” said Jones.

Episode one is already complete and ready to go, and Jones is currently in the process of filming episode two. No definite date has been set for the official debut, but look for the show to air sometime after spring break toward the end of March.
