The Pierce Activities Council (PAC) is hosting a free massage event in the Glass Foyer on March 12th from 12 to 4 p.m. for anyone on campus.

The event comes on the last day before Spring Break, for those students who have been feeling overwhelmed with the amount of work given to them in the past few weeks.

Freshman Joe Carter said, “This week is the busiest one I’ve had at school this year. It is out of control. Spring Break cannot come fast enough.”

With midterms having occurred last week and throughout the remainder of this week, a good number of students are expected to be in attendance.

Derek Scalia, the Assistant Director of Student Involvement, said, “We expect somewhere between forty to sixty students to attend the event.”

The people that will be giving the massages are trained professionals. The company, Massage On-The-Go USA, came to campus at the end of the first semester with plans of having two masseuses, but only one was able to attend due to the other getting a flat tire. The massages should last for five minutes each, according to Scalia.

If a student is feeling stressed out and in need of some time to just relax, stop by the glass foyer on March 12th between 12 and 4.
