There are newly posted flyers around campus informing students that Community Assistant (CA) positions are now available.
There will be an informational meeting on March 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cheshire Community room where the application process will be explained.
Any student can apply for this job. There are great benefits that come with being a CA. The school gives each CA $5,000. “It’s a good resume builder,” said Manjunath Burdekar. Burdekar is a junior at Franklin Pierce as well as a CA. The CAs often hold monthly events in their assigned dorms. Recently New Hampshire Hall, a freshman dorm, had a milkshake event for its residents. In Mount Washington, there was recently a “Let’s talk about Sex” optional meeting. Students were given additional information about sex.
All events are optional to the residents.
