Ten students gathered in the Monadnock Hall Drawing Studio at 6:00 p.m. this evening for Drawing V.
The class is taught by Professor Lorettann Gascard, who opened the class by offering an incentive to students who perform well with their artwork, as well as show up to class. The student who is able to show the greatest improvement was to get a little wooden drawer which is good for storing many small items, including art supplies.
Students then began to set up their art supplies and started to draw. Today, members of the class were working with chalk.
Christopher Kickham, a freshman, enjoys getting experience from the new mediums they get to learn. “I really like to draw and I’ve been taught many new techniques over the semester.”
Drawing V meets each Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is worth 3.00 credits. Gascard will teach the class in the upcoming Fall semester.
